About the Kiteboards
Zero Gravity kiteboards use 1/4" PVC cores, Durasurf rails and stainless steel inserts. The board is laminated with carbon fiber and epoxy resin using a unique process involving vacuum, pressure and heat. The result is a thin, strong lively board.
Zero Gravity 2006 edition now has PBT top skins for durability and Durasurf bottoms for performance . Durasurf is a material which can be repaired if damaged and has incredible flow characteristic. This stuff is like hot butter on a biscuit. You can hold an edge longer and release it so quickly that the pop will send you to new heights.
Each board contains three carbon box beams running the length of the board. This creates a carbon fiber leaf spring with flex characteristics that enable the Zero Gravity kiteboard to explode off the water and absorb landing stress with ease. Zero Gravity is the only board which uses only carbon fiber and no cheapo fiber glass filler.
New for 2006 Zero Gravity is introducing the Chick Stick. This pink board is a full on Zero Gravity carbon fiber board for the ladies. The pink color has been selected to be as visible in the water as the popular Zero Gravity yellow board. This is Zero Gravity's way of getting in touch with its feminine side. |
